A wardrobe is a cabinet-style and solid wood furniture used for storing clothes. Commonly, it can be divided into types such as sliding doors, internal and external sliding doors, etc. The materials used for the wardrobe panels generally include wu xiang board, solid wood particle board, medium fiber board, etc. It is one of the commonly used furniture items in households.

A wardrobe is composed of the cabinet body, door panels (sliding doors or flat doors), and hardware (tie clips, drawers, pull baskets, hanging rods, layer board fasteners, trouser racks, mirrors, hinges, etc.). The cabinet body of a general wardrobe is made of materials such as 18mm thick materials (particle board, density board, solid wood board, composite multi-layer board, finger-jointed board); while the door panels (for sliding doors, they are made of 9mm wooden materials such as UV board, double decorative panel, wave board, louver board, painted board, or 5mm glass sliding doors); for flat doors, it is generally made of 16mm or 18mm materials. Generally, for wardrobe manufacturers, the hardware is provided as a package and they do not produce it themselves. There are also a few merchants who produce the hardware for their own wardrobes.
